Radiesse Fillers

Radiesse Fillers

Cosmetic procedures are on the rise as many are looking to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and essentially slow the aging process. Things like lip fillers, injections, and dermal fillers are quite common among women of all ages. However, not all injectables are the same, below you will learn about Radiesse and how it differs from other fillers.

What is Radiesse?

Radiesse is a dermal filler approved by the FDA. It is used for smoothing moderate to severe folds and wrinkles, such as nasolabial folds, which are the creases extending from the corner of your nose to your mouth. Radiesse has also been proven to be used to correct volume loss in places such as the back of the hands.

With Radiesse you can treat pre-jowl lines, smile lines, marionette lines, mouth corners, and even chin wrinkles.

Radiesse is made up of calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres within a watery gel. It also contains a medicine called lidocaine which is used to aid in reducing pain from the injection.

What is the difference between Radiesse and other fillers?

Many people often believe all injectables are the same, Radiesse differs in many ways.

Radiesse shows immediate results in creating volume and smoothing your skin. It works on moderate to severe wrinkles, may fill some scars, or even depressions as it is injected deeper into the tissue than most.

Radiesse also differs from many other injectables as it helps to rebuild natural collagen over time.

How does Radiesse work?

As the aging process occurs, natural collagen breaks down causing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and causing skin laxity. Radiesse is a subdermal implant that works by immediately replenishing the lost volume, giving you a more refreshed, younger appearance.

As a collegen builder, Radiesse acts as a scaffold in providing structure for your natural collagen to begin to grow. It is biocompatible and overtime is reabsorbed back through the body’s metabolic process.

How long does the filler last?

Unlike many other injectables, fillers, and implants that the effects wear off within a few months, Radiesse is a long-lasting subdermal filler. It can last well over one year as it helps your body to produce natural collagen providing additional support.

Radiesse is not a permanent solution to fine lines and wrinkles, as one has yet to be invented, however, it offers the longest-lasting results next to a full facelift available at a much more affordable price tag.

While the effects of a Radiesse filler differ from person to person, Radiesse is a smoothing and volumizing filler that has been proven to make women feel they have a more youthful appearance and feel more beautiful with every treatment. It is imperative that Radiesse is only administered by a highly trained professional.
